Course Objective

To help adult learners deal competently with real-life situations when interacting with English-speaking people and exchanging ideas and interests with them.

  • SPEAKING EVALUATION (Preparation: 30 minutes / Interaction 2-3 minutes)

The evaluation focuses on a real-life situation related to relationships in an English-speaking environment

  • READING EVALUATION:

    • read simple narrative and/or informative texts about exchanging ideas and interests in formal or informal contexts

    • use information from texts to answer questions

  • WRITING EVALUATION:

    • ​write a short simple text about exchanging ideas and interests in formal or informal contexts

    • may fill out a form related to exchanging ideas and interests in a formal or informal context

    • express ideas and interests

    • may describe simple events or plans

  • LISTENING EVALUATION:

    • listen to simple texts about exchanging ideas and interests in formal or informal contexts

    • use information from texts to answer questions

  • SPEAKING EVALUATION (Preparation):

    • read a scenario about exchanging ideas and interests in a formal or informal context

    • write notes (no sentences, only ideas) to use during the interaction

  • SPEAKING EVALUATION (Interaction):

    • ask simple questions

    • respond to simple questions

    • express ideas and interests

    • may describe situations
