PLACEMENT TEST FOR NEW PROGRAM

The ESL team at la Commission scolaire des Portages-de-l'Outaouais has developed a placement test that conforms to the new program and classifies students in levels pre-secondary to secondary 5.  Your centre is welcome to use, modify and adapt this placement test. It is a working document, meaning it has not been field tested yet and your constructive feedback would be helpful to improve it.  Your education consultant (conseiller pédagogique) can download it from Mahara in the folder Anglais, langue seconde / Épreuves.

Message du ministère de l'Éducation

et de l'Enseignement supérieur

Prior Learning Examination (PLE)

Request to teachers offering ANG 5106 Current Events:

To any teachers using the material created by Eugene Abrams for ANG 5106, Mr. Abrams is looking for feedback on the projects and learning situations from students just after they have completed the course. If possible, would you be willing to contact Mr. Abrams (eugene.abrams@csmv.qc.ca) to assist him in submitting a short questionnaire to these students, as part of a research essay for his University of Sherbrooke Masters program. The ideal time framework would be by the end of October, or mid-November at the latest.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
