DETAILS:

PREPARATION: Before the evaluation, students will choose an issue from a list provided by the teacher and then research the issue and prepare research notes

INTERPRETATION: During the interpretation section of the evaluation, students receive additional information about the topic chosen. Using the new information as well as their research notes, students prepare notes for an oral interaction with the teacher

NOTES REVIEW: Immediately before the interaction, students will have time to review their notes prepared during the Interpretation section of the evaluation

INTERACTION: During the oral interaction, students must discuss the issue, then express and defend their ideas, opinions and viewpoints
