DID YOU KNOW?
Toolkits have been created for all of the core courses in Secondary 4 and 5?  Some of these Toolkits have been around for a while (ANG 5101-5102-5103), others have recently been updated (ANG 4102) and new ones are now available (ANG 4101-4103).  These Toolkits were created to help students with the key elements of the courses.  They can be found in the RESOURCES section of each course.  Please check them out!

  • ANG 5102 LS First Gift Advice
    • A second version has been added with a listening activity
    • This version has a Preparation and an Interpretation section
  • ANG 5101 LES Sweatshops
    • A second version has been added with integrated texts and the graphic organizer from the 5101 Toolkit (Toolkit can be found in the RESOURCES section for ANG 5101)
  • ANG 5103 LS Sweatshops
    • More texts have been integrated into the LS to allow students to support their arguments and develop C2 
    • References to the OREO approach have been removed as these are available in the 5103 Toolkit (Toolkit can be found int the RESOURCES section for ANG 5103)​

Each course has a RESOURCES section.  In this section you will find a variety of tools that have been developed specifically for the course as well as pertinent online resources.  In the RESOURCES section, you will also see General Resources for ALL COURSES which contains links to multiple resources helpful to students at any level.  Please check these out!

Prior Learning Assessment:

We are receiving many questions regarding the Prior Learning Assessment at this time.  For accurate information, please refer to the Info Sanction 18-19-07 which is available from the Responsable de sanction in your centre.

Optional Courses:

Please note that the optional course DEDs and prototype exams are not yet available from the MEES.  Once these become available, we will let you know in the NEWS section of the website.

Welcome back!  We hope you had a great summer!  2018-2019 marks the first year of mandatory implementation of the DBE program (Secondary 3-4-5) and our goal is to keep this website up to date so that it can continue to be a one-stop shopping resource for the CCBE and DBE programs.  If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to CONTACT US.  We wish you a successful school year.
